How to Pin a Comment on Instagram
Quick answer
Pin a comment on your own post by swiping left on it (or pressing and holding on Android) and tapping the pin icon. The comment jumps to the top of the thread with a Pinned label. You can pin up to three comments per post, including other people's comments.

Open the comments on your post
Tap the comment icon under any post you published.

Find the comment to pin
It can be your own comment or one from a follower, such as a great question or testimonial.

On iOS, swipe left on the comment to reveal the pin. On Android, press and hold the comment, then tap the pin icon at the top.

Unpin when it goes stale
Repeat the same gesture and tap the pin icon again to unpin. Pinning a fourth comment replaces the oldest pin.

- Only the post owner can pin comments, and only on their own posts.
- When you pin someone else's comment, they get a notification.
